Noise Level Critical?
What does everyone think about the petitions going around to stop a legislation that will force venues to have a noise control device fitted into the venue? I’ve received a handful of copies of the petition via email from others in the music industry although at the moment I haven’t signed the petition - or forwarded it to others. Why? Well, I’m not sure how low the music would...

Is it me or is it kind of cruel and exploitive to make an eagle try to fly just so it opens its wings for millions on human onlookers, but having it tied to your hand so it can’t?
That aside, yay for the inauguration of Barack Obama.

As much as I wouldn’t mind a job writing for a newspaper (music section, please!), they do annoy me sometimes - especially when they make fun of people just to use up a bit of space. Take today for instance, one paper has an article on Heather Mills. I’m not going to comment on the Mills - McCartney thing because I think if you’re not there and not a part of it, you don’t...

Not Tough Enough
I see there were at least 2 accounts of animal cruelty in the national papers today. Both saw those guilty of the crimes being convicted - although personally I think they deserve tougher sentences.
One man was accused of giving beer to a dog and then beating him with a stick. Oh yes, it’s so funny to give an animal alcohol isn’t it? No, it’s not. Unless you’re two years...
